# SmartSort AI Terms of service

These terms govern your use of SmartSort AI (the “App”), provided by FleekApps (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you use the App on behalf of a business, you accept these terms for that business.

## 1. The service

The App sorts the collections you choose in your Shopify store: it ranks products using the rules you set and changes the collections’ manual sort order through the Shopify Admin API. Depending on your plan it can also add or remove product tags you configure (smart tagging), add an anonymous analytics pixel to your storefront, show reports and suggest merchandising changes, including suggestions generated with AI.

## 2. Your Shopify store

You need an active Shopify store and must comply with Shopify’s terms. You decide which collections the App sorts and how. Changes to collection order and product tags are visible to your customers and may affect other apps, themes or automated collections that rely on them; you are responsible for the settings you choose.

## 3. Plans, trials and billing

- The free plan has no charge. Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify, monthly or yearly, and appear on your Shopify invoice.
- Free trials are free. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. Each store can use one free trial.
- Each plan has limits, such as the number of products in your store, the number of collections sorted and how often collections re-sort. If your store exceeds a limit, automatic sorting may pause until you upgrade.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time in the App. Refunds are handled according to Shopify’s billing rules.
- We may change plan prices for new subscriptions. Existing subscriptions keep their price unless you approve a change in Shopify.

## 4. Recommendations and AI

Recommendations, including AI-generated suggestions, are suggestions only and can be wrong or incomplete. Nothing is changed until you apply a suggestion, and you are responsible for the settings you apply.

## 5. Acceptable use

Don’t use the App to break the law, to interfere with the App or Shopify, to access other merchants’ data, to send false data to the storefront pixel endpoint, or to reverse engineer the service. We may suspend access that puts the service or other merchants at risk.

## 6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the App available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service or that every scheduled sort runs at the exact time chosen. Sorting depends on Shopify’s APIs, rate limits and availability. We may improve or change features over time.

## 7. Data

Your use of the App is also governed by our [privacy policy](https://fleekapps.com/apps/smartsort-ai/privacy/). You keep ownership of your store data and the settings you create.

## 8. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided “as is”. We don’t promise any particular increase in sales or conversions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

## 9. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Your collections keep the last order the App applied; restore a collection’s original sort order in the App before uninstalling if you want Shopify’s previous sorting back. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms.

## 10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify merchants in the App. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
