Privacy policy

This policy explains how FleekApps (“we”, “us”) handles information when a Shopify merchant installs and uses ShipRule (the “App”), and when you visit fleekapps.com.

In short: ShipRule needs your store details and the shipping rules you build so it can run them as a Shopify Function. Your rules run inside Shopify’s checkout, and we don’t collect or store personal information about your customers.

Information we collect from merchants

• Store details provided by Shopify when you install the App: shop domain, store name, contact email, Shopify plan, currency, time zone and primary domain.
• Staff account details for the people who open the App, as provided by Shopify, and their role in the store.
• Access tokens issued by Shopify so the App can act on your behalf: an expiring offline token used to keep your checkout configuration in sync, and short-lived online tokens tied to each staff member. Tokens are stored encrypted and removed when you uninstall.
• Your rules and settings: the shipping rules, conditions, actions and priorities you create, and your App settings.
• Activity history: a log of changes made in the App (for example, which rule was edited and when), so you can see what changed.
• Billing status of your subscription (plan, status, trial and billing dates) as reported by Shopify. We never see or store card details. Shopify handles payment.

Information about your customers

ShipRule does not receive or store order data. At checkout, your rules run inside Shopify’s own infrastructure as a Shopify Function. To decide which delivery options to show, the function reads the cart, the customer’s tags and login status, and the shipping country, state or province and postal code. Shopify processes this data inside checkout; it is not sent to us and we do not store it.

How we use information

• To provide the App: save your rules, compile them into your store’s checkout configuration and keep that configuration in sync.
• To manage your subscription through Shopify App Pricing.
• To provide support and keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

• Shopify: the platform the App runs on, including authentication, billing and checkout.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while the App is installed. Webhook records and activity logs are trimmed automatically, and deleted rules are purged 30 days after deletion. When you uninstall, your access tokens are removed immediately, and your store’s data is deleted when Shopify sends the store data-removal request (typically 48 hours after uninstall). Because we hold no customer personal data, Shopify’s customer data and customer redaction requests are acknowledged with nothing to return or delete.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens are encrypted at rest, requests from Shopify are verified with signed session tokens and HMAC signatures, and access to production systems is restricted and logged.

This website

This website (fleekapps.com) does not use cookies or analytics trackers. Its typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, and the footer animation loads the open-source Matter.js library from cdnjs (Cloudflare); both services receive your IP address when the files are downloaded, and neither sets cookies. Standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) are kept for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to its processing. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within the time required by law. If you are a customer of a Shopify store, please contact that store first. They control your data.

Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify merchants in the App.
