Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Fleek Apps LLC (“FleekApps”, “we”, “us”) uses on our websites (fleekapps.com, help.fleekapps.com and rackscanner.com) and in our Shopify apps, and how you control them. It is part of our privacy policy.

In short: strictly necessary cookies keep the sites working. Everything else, such as analytics and marketing, stays off until you say yes in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tags (small pieces of code from another company). In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.

Your choices

The first time you visit, our cookie banner asks for your choice. You can Accept all, Reject all, or Customize by category. Optional categories are off until you turn them on, rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.

To change your choice, use the Your privacy choices link in the footer of any page. If you withdraw consent, we stop the affected tools and delete the cookies they set on our domain. On fleekapps.com and help.fleekapps.com, one choice covers both sites.

We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we add tools for a new purpose.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, as required by California and other US state laws. Marketing cookies then stay off and can’t be switched on from that browser. We don’t sell personal information either way.

Categories

Strictly necessary. Needed for the sites to work, for security and to remember your cookie choice. They don’t need consent and can’t be switched off in the banner.

Analytics. Help us understand which pages are visited and how the sites are used, so we can improve them. Only with your consent.

Marketing. Measure our ads and show relevant ads on other sites. Under some US state laws this can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. Only with your consent, and never when your browser sends a GPC signal.

Cookies we use

We don’t use any analytics or marketing tools at the moment, so no optional cookies are set. If we add one, it will be listed here and will only run after you consent.

Other services our pages use

Our typefaces are hosted on our own servers. The footer animation on fleekapps.com loads the open-source Matter.js library from cdnjs (Cloudflare), which receives your IP address when the file is downloaded and sets no cookies.

Our Shopify apps

Our apps open inside the Shopify admin and sign you in with Shopify’s session tokens, not tracking cookies. Our app servers may set strictly necessary session and security cookies on pages such as the install page. Shopify sets its own cookies in the Shopify admin and in your store; see Shopify’s cookie policy.

SmartSort AI’s storefront pixel

SmartSort AI adds a Shopify Web Pixel to the merchant’s online store to count collection views, product clicks and add-to-carts. It sets no cookies, sends no customer identifiers and runs in Shopify’s sandbox. It follows the shopper’s choices in the store’s own cookie banner: where consent is required, it only runs for shoppers who allow analytics.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop forms, feedback votes or your saved cookie choice from working.

Changes

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. If we add tools for a new purpose, we’ll ask for your consent again.
